Meet Louis Rego

Louis has over 42 years of experience in the real estate industry. Prior to joining BayCoast Bank, formerly Citizens~Union Savings Bank, in 1998, Louis was broker/owner for Rego Realty, and has been a licensed real estate broker since 1979. As a Mortgage Loan Officer, he is responsible for originating mortgages, land loans, construction loans, and equity loans, promoting the Bank’s products and services and networking for the Bank at various business development functions. Mr. Rego is fluent in Portuguese.

Louis resides in Warren, RI, and is a graduate of the Real Estate Institution. He has also completed a number of real estate and mortgage lending programs at several institutions including the University of Rhode Island, Roger Williams University, and the Community College of Rhode Island.

Louis is a member and Past President of the Warren-Barrington Rotary. He previously served as a Councilman for the Town of Warren over a 12-year period, in addition to other local organizations, including coaching Tee Ball for the Warren Little League. In his spare time, Louis enjoys traveling, skiing, golfing, skeet, and boating.
