As Co\u2011President of BayCoast Mortgage, Shawn Rioux brings a dynamic blend of strategic vision, operational expertise, and people\u2011first leadership to the organization. He shares responsibility for setting the company\u2019s direction and oversees key functions including origination, underwriting, sales, compliance, and secondary market operations. With a forward\u2011looking mindset, Shawn is dedicated to responsible, efficient growth and focuses on strengthening market presence while building trusted relationships, supporting long\u2011term organizational success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shawn brings nearly three decades of in-depth financial and mortgage industry experience to his role. Before his promotion to Co\u2011President in December 2025, he served as Senior Vice President of Operations at BayCoast Mortgage.  He previously held key leadership positions at major financial institutions, including Santander Bank, Digital Federal Credit Union, and Bank of America Home Loans. Shawn began his career at Norwest Financial, laying the foundation for a long and successful career in financial services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, Shawn earned a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Finance. He has previously held several financial services certifications, including FINRA Series 6 and 63 Investment and Securities Licenses, as well as a Massachusetts Individual Life Producer License. Additionally, he has completed post\u2011baccalaureate coursework in accounting, finance, and tax disciplines, further strengthening his expertise in the financial and mortgage industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shawn is committed to building a culture where integrity, collaboration, and exceptional service come first. A dedicated mentor, he leads and develops management teams, establishes clear performance standards, and fosters an environment where people are empowered to do their best work.
