Recently promoted to Co‑President of BayCoast Mortgage, Heather Francis joined the company in 2013 as Business Analyst and Lead Coordinator, attaining the title of Assistant Vice President thereafter.  In 2015, she ascended to the position of Vice President, Secondary Market Pricing, a role she held until her latest promotion in December 2025.

Heather brings an exceptional commitment to building community relationships that have helped shape her executive leadership. Serving on the Board of Managers as Co-President, she oversees all facets of residential lending, leading the development and support of new and existing business channels in 11 states along the East Coast, while maintaining a strong network of referral partners to expand market share and cultivate talent.

Her management approach is built on discipline, accuracy, and a relentless pursuit of excellence, helping to guide the mortgage company’s vision, mission, and long‑term strategic direction by consistently supporting innovation, elevating standards, and inspiring teams to deliver their best.

Francis is a former standout scholar athlete, earning accolades at an elite level. She  graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, receiving a full athletic scholarship as a member of the Women’s Track & Field Team. She was a three‑time All‑American Gatorade Student Athlete and Player of the Year and ranked #1 nationally in the high school girls’ high jump for three consecutive years.

Heather’s exceptional jump of 6’1¼” earned her a coveted invitation to the 1996 Olympic Trials in Atlanta, GA.

Francis was inducted into the Massachusetts State Track Coaches Hall of Fame in 2015.
